SDHM 3.1 Features
Management Manual for Western Washington1 and assist project proponents in complying with the Western Washington hydromodification control requirements. The San Diego Hydrology Model 3.1 (SDHM 3.1) is adapted from WWHM Version 4, but has been modified to represent San Diego County hydrology and enhanced to be able to size other types of control measures and low impact development (LID) techniques for flow reduction as well.
SDHM 3.1 is a useful tool in the design process, but must be used in conjunction with local design guidance to ensure compliance for specific projects. The reader should refer to the local municipal permitting agency’s stormwater manual appendices C and D for additional information and suggestions for using SDHM 3.1
