Clear Creek Solutions was the lead modeler for the Government Canal outlet channel hydraulic modeling study. Government Canal drains into the White River through a flap gate that is closed during most large flood events. A pumping system is required to pump the flow over the dike. This study calibrated a WWHM-SWMM (combined HSPF and EPA SWMM5.1) model that was used to analyze all ranges of flood conditions for the purposes of sizing a pumping system that could handle over 100 cfs.
