Download and Install EPA SWMM
This article will quickly walk you through how to download EPA SWMM and get started with the model.
Begin by opening your web browser and going to https://www.epa.gov/water-research/storm-water-management-model-swmm
2. Download the 64-bit installation program.
3. Go to your downloads folder to access the installation package.
4. Scroll to the “Self-Extracting Installation Program for SWMM”. Double-click to open the installer.
5. The installation process will begin. Follow the installation instructions noting the folder of install.
6. Complete the installation process.
7. After the installer completes, open EPA SWMM 5.2 by searching for the program in the search tab. Click on the app to run the program.
8. EPA SWMM is now running.
