How to Use The SSD Element in WWHM 2012

This article will briefly describe how to model using the Stage-Storage-Discharge Table (SSD Table) element. This element is one of the more advanced facilities in WWHM 2012, but can be very powerful when utilized properly.

SSD Table Element

In WWHM 2012, it may be advantageous for the user to utilize the custom storage abilities of the SSD Table Element. Although useful for most modeling situations, elements such as the trapezoidal pond, storage tank, and vault may not be sufficient to represent unique storage situations. In these cases, the user should make use of the SSD Table of element.

  1. Setup the predeveloped scenario of your project. Run the scenario.

2. Go to the mitigated scenario. Input the mitigated landuse area.

3. Insert the SSD Table element.

4. Connect the element to POC 1.

5. Create a default facility or import values into the SSD element. Click “Add Layer”.

6. Click “Quick Pond” and “Update” to fill in default values.

7. Notice the filled values in the SSD Table element.

8. Create an Outlet Structure and run the scenario.
